Roll container palletiser for the retail trade

Initial situation & task

Schwingshandl implemented a palletising solution for the automated loading of roll containers for a retailer. The aim was to efficiently stack and compact containers and palletise them either on roll containers or on Euro pallets.

Realisation

The containers are stacked from top to bottom in a stacking machine to form stable towers. The towers are fed to the combination palletiser via modular belts, which can switch flexibly between roll container and pallet loading.
A specially developed pusher compacts two towers of containers at a time and pushes them onto the roll container in a controlled manner.

Scope of delivery

  • Stacking machine from top to bottom
  • Combination palletiser for roll containers and Euro pallets
  • Modular conveyors, chain conveyors, turntables

Added value

  • Flexible palletising for different load carriers
  • Compact and powerful solution
  • Reliable handling in the retail environment
