The optimal solution is often found in the details.

Automatically separating a stack of containers from a pallet may sound like a standard task. In practice, however, it quickly becomes clear that not all containers are the same. Their stability, structural properties and behavior throughout the handling process must be carefully considered to ensure safe and reliable operation.

In our depalletizer, the container stacks are pneumatically clamped while the empty pallet is pushed out of the system. A modular belt conveyor then takes over the stacks for further transport.

The particular challenge: while the pallet is being removed, the container stacks must remain stable and must not shift.

That is why we integrated additional push fingers. During this process step, they are positioned underneath the stacks, providing the stability required to ensure safe and reliable operation.

It is details like these that make the difference.
