Initial situation & task
Schwingshandl realised a fully automatic handling system for loading and unloading AGVs with a downstream paternoster as a transfer to the conveyor system for a well-known car manufacturer.
Realisation
The AGVs each transport a batch of containers stacked on top of each other. A specially developed shifting unit with a relative lift picks up several containers at the same time. These are then placed together on an angled paternoster, cycled upwards and fed individually to the conveyor system.
