Initial situation & task
Schwingshandl realised an ergonomic order picking workstation with dynamic height adjustment for a supplier to the automotive industry. The aim was to optimise picking activities ergonomically and at the same time ensure a flexible material flow for containers and cartons.
Realisation
Schwingshandl developed a height-adjustable picking workstation in which a ball table is mounted on a hydraulic scissor lift table. The infeed and outfeed technology for containers and cartons is articulated on the lift table. As a result, the conveyor technology adapts synchronously to the respective working height and enables particularly dynamic and ergonomic height adjustment.
