Depalletising system with destacking and tray loading

Initial situation & task

Schwingshandl implemented a depalletising system in the incoming goods area, including destacking and tray loading, for a retail customer. The aim was to process containers flexibly and load them directly into trays.

Realisation

In the incoming goods area, the containers are depalletised using a pneumatic, four-sided depalletiser. The stacks are then fed to a destacking machine that works from bottom to top.
A gripper device is integrated at the top end, which enables the containers to be placed directly into trays individually or in pairs.

Components used

  • Four-sided pneumatic depalletiser
  • Modular belt and chain conveyors
  • Destacking machine from bottom to top incl. tray loading

Added value

  • Flexible further processing in incoming goods
  • Direct tray loading without additional interfaces
  • High process reliability with varying container formats
