Initial situation & task
Schwingshandl realised a solution for a food retailer for the automated closing of container lids after the filling process – directly in the ongoing conveyor flow. A key requirement was that the closing process should be carried out completely mechanically, without the use of pneumatics or electrics.
Realisation
Schwingshandl developed and integrated a link-controlled, mechanical lid closer that is reliably integrated into the existing conveying process. The closing process takes place purely mechanically during the container movement and is precisely synchronised with the conveying speed.
