Initial situation & task
Large load carriers (LLC) had to be transferred to carrier pallets for a car manufacturer. The carrier pallets were to be temporarily stored directly at the transfer station and supplied as required.
Realisation
The large load carriers are fed to the LLC transfer station via chain conveyors. A special transfer unit with fork and lifting gear picks up the LLC, moves it into position above the carrier pallet and sets it down precisely.
The carrier pallets are buffered in a directly connected angled paternoster and supplied via toothed belt conveyors.
