Initial situation & task
Schwingshandl realised a system for destacking lids and a downstream lid placement station for a pharmaceutical wholesaler.
In the pharmaceutical industry, conical containers with different heights are used, which have to be reliably capped during despatch – at very high throughput rates.
Realisation
Schwingshandl has developed a high-performance denesting machine in which the lids are synchronised downwards by friction via vertically running belts, separated by means of a link control system and fed to the automatic lid feeder.
Different container heights are also fed purely mechanically. The automatic lidding machine places the lids pneumatically onto the containers.
