Initial situation & task
Schwingshandl realised a system for stacking dollies (roll containers) for a customer in the e-commerce sector. The aim was to stack containers efficiently, place them on dollies and secure them for onward transport.
Realisation
The dollies are provided and separated in a dolly stacking machine. They are transported via a gripper chain conveyor.
Containers are formed into towers from top to bottom in a stacking machine and then placed on a dolly. A downstream strapping machine secures the stacking tower for further transport.
